If You’re An Effeminate Worship Leader, Mark Driscoll Wants To Mock You

As noted here on Homebrewed Theology, Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church in Seattle has said, and done, some rather stupid things. Today, however, takes the cake.

He took to his Facebook and asked the following question:

So, what story do you have about the most effeminate anatomically male worship leader you’ve ever personally witnessed?

Just so you know I’m not making this up….. here’s the screen capture:

Really, Mark? Perhaps they should punch themselves in the face 5 times to show how “manly” they can be.

he’s an idiot, obviously, but you’ve gotta know that the story about him punching himself in the face five times / asking pastors to punch him in the face is from an onion-esque fake news site.

Thanks. The first place I saw the “punch in the face” story must not have been it’s original source.

It is funny, though, and not too far off base.
