Youre so gullible when it comes to Muslims. You go out of your way to appease them out of fear for how they might retaliate. This is exactly what they want. You honestly think theyll be even MORE angry, belligerent, and irrational if those photos are made public?
In some ways I’m curious to see the pictures, in other ways I really dont care. But your concern for how Muslims might react is ridiculous.
Michelle Malkin hit the nail on the head last year……..
Shhhhhhh, we’re told. Dont protest the Ground Zero mosque. Dont burn a Koran. It’ll imperil the troops. It’ll inflame tensions. The Muslim world will explode if it does not get its way. But when is the Muslim world not ready to explode?
In June, 2010 At least nine people including five policemen were injured after violent protests erupted in different areas of the city over the rumours of blasphemous depiction of a “sacred mosque” imprinted on underwear. The structure on the garment later turned out to be that of a historic cathedral of Italy.
In 1994, Muslims threatened German supermodel Claudia Schiffer with death after she wore a Karl Lagerfeld-designed dress printed with a saying from the Koran.
In 1997, outraged Muslims forced Nike to recall 800,000 shoes because they claimed the company’s “Air” logo looked like the Arabic script for “Allah.”
n 1998, another conflagration spread over Unilever’s ice cream logo — which Muslims claimed looked like “Allah” if read upside-down and backward (can’t recall what they said it resembled if you viewed it with 3D glasses).
Even more explosively, in 2002, an al-Qaida-linked jihadist cell plotted to blow up Bologna, Italy’s Church of San Petronio because it displayed a 15th century fresco depicting Mohammed being tormented in the ninth circle of Hell.
That same year, Nigerian Muslims stabbed, bludgeoned or burned to death 200 people in protest of the Miss World beauty pageant. Nigerian journalist Isioma Daniel joked that Mohammed would have approved of the pageant and that “in all honesty, he would probably have chosen a wife from among them”. A fatwa was then issued on Daniel’s life by a Nigerian official.
In 2005, British Muslims got all hot and bothered over a Burger King ice cream cone container whose swirly-texted label resembled, you guessed it, the Arabic script for “Allah.” Rashad Akhtar, a young British Muslim, told Harper’s Magazine how the ice cream caper had inspired him: “Even though it means nothing to some people and may mean nothing to some Muslims in this country, this is my jihad. I’m not going to rest until I find the person who is responsible. I’m going to bring this country down.”
In 2007, Muslims combusted again in Sudan after an infidel elementary school teacher innocently named a classroom teddy bear “Mohammed.” Protesters chanted, “Kill her, kill her by firing squad!” and “No tolerance — execution!”
And who could forget the global Danish cartoon riots of 2006 (instigated by imams who toured Egypt stoking hysteria with faked anti-Islam comic strips)?
When everything from sneakers to stuffed animals to comics to frescos to beauty queens to fast-food packaging to undies serves as dry tinder for Allah’s avengers, it’s a grand farce to feign concern about the recruitment effect of a few burnt Korans in the hands of a two-bit attention-seeker in Florida. The eternal flame of Muslim outrage was lit a long, long time ago.
Keep fighting the good fight my friend. Just know that if a group of Muslims had the chance to take either you or Dick Cheney as a hostage for some freakish ritual beheading, their choice would come down to a coin flip. Allahu Akbar!

So, all Muslims are terrorists bent on destroying this country and killing infidels?
You’re really ok with endangering the Military by releasing these photos, parading them around like a trophy?
Why would you support an action that is almost guaranteed to upset the crazies? Not only that, releasing the photos would only give credence to their claim that the US is engaged in a war on Islam, possibly icing relations with those nations and leaders who are working WITH the US.
This isn’t about ‘fear of Muslims’, it’s about not doing something so incredibly stupid and self serving that you’d put not only the soldiers in the field, but Americans everywhere at greater risk.
Doing something that’s guaranteed to upset the crazies is stupid beyond belief.
No, I dont think its all Muslims, and we’ve clarified that on more than one previous occasion.
Again, I’m mostly indifferent on whether they should release the pictures or not- unless the specific reason for not doing so is solely because some Muslims might get their feelings hurt.
Releasing the pictures puts the military in no more or less danger. Are you suggesting that by not releasing the pictures that next time an engagement is imminent, instead of shooting, our soldiers will be invited to sing cumbaya with the Muslims?
Yes, I do support “upsetting the crazies”. You see, “the crazies” are already upset. There is nothing we can do or not do that will calm them down. Behaving in a manner that you are advocating only emboldens them further. Therefore I’m in favor of doing anything possible to show strength toward them rather than weakness. I have provided plenty of evidence in my previous post about the type of people we’re dealing with here- theyre barbaric animals. Your method of dealing with them doesnt work and will never work. They will either kill Americans or they will die trying- and either is OK with them. There is nothing wrong with trying to view a world that is as you think it should be. But you err when you refuse to see the world as it really is.
Those Muslims who are not “crazies” likely have enough rationale to know whats going on and that it has nothing to do with them. If they lack that rationale and are offended anyway, then so be it. Just like the high school girl, I hope that being offended by some pictures or comments are the worst things that ever happen to them.
