This just makes me ill. Especially since the average retired Chicago city employee makes only $29,000/year.
All it took to give nearly two dozen labor leaders from Chicago a windfall worth millions was a few tweaks to a handful of sentences in the state’s lengthy pension code.

Looks like the GOP, being led by the politically myopic Tea Party is yet again completely out of step with the American public at large.
