Well, we made it.  We arrived in Kissimmee about 8:00ish last night after making the drive from Tallahassee. The photo above is the front door to our temporary digs here at Venetian Bay Condos. 

The drive down last night was a bit anxiety inducing.  We drove through a few heavy rains on I-75, some that were blinding.  I guess it was like a baptism into our new lives as Floridians.

I start work Monday at 7:15am.  It’ll be the first time I’ll be the FNG in 16 years…so, yeah, I’m a little nervous.

We’ve got appointments to view some houses tomorrow and Sunday.  I’m confident we’ll find the right one for us rather quickly.

Today is chill and laundry day.  We may drive through some of the neighborhoods where we’re looking at houses so we can get a better idea.
