WOOHOO! Another 2-0 week puts me on 2 game win streaks in both leagues.
As always, check out Rod and Adam’s columns.
Yahoo
Awesome, I’m back at 3-3 thanks to a 237.85 to 214.25 win. My TEs, Jake Ballard and Brandon Pettigrew had monster day. However, my best day, as far as exceeding predicted points, was the recently acquired Michael Turner. 100+ yards and 3 TDs? How awesome is that?
Couple of bye week saving moves this week. Picked up Robbie Gould to replace Lindell, and finally got rid of Felix “I’m made of tissue paper” Jones for DeMarco Murray. Yahoo finally took Jones of the ‘can’t cut’ list and it looks like Reggie Wayne (another bane of my existence) may soon be taken off as well.
ESPN
Took a 74 to 63 win here, too, thanks to my opponent starting Rex Grossman (-3 points). Aside from Matt Forte, Matt Stafford, and Jahvid Best, the rest of my team bought it…hard. That’s what I was thankful for the 21 point differential in starting QBs.
Same thing here, a bye week move (Bailey for Lindell) and then hopefully a couple upgrades (Darius Heyward-Bey now that Carson Palmer is QB in Oakland and Fred Davis for TGonz because Atlanta is awful).
This Week
In my Yahoo league, my opponent basically surrendered. He has 6 players on bye this week and league rules allow you to add 2 per week. What makes this awesome is he’s numero uno at 5-1 and the biggest trash talker in the league. Oh, and did I mention this is the guy who traded me Michael Turner? Should be a cakewalk, he’s got 3 empty slots (WR, RB, TE) and a receiver who is out with an injury, so that’s 4.
My ESPN opponent also has massive bye week and injury issues this week.
Prediction 2-0 yet again this week!
